Macro proactively enforces their Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) program from all levels of the organization and workforce. This ensures the health and safety of all workers, as well as the protection of property and the environment.
The responsibility for the application of our EH&S Program rests with all employees and contractors associated with Macro. Macro’s hiring policy ensures that all workers have the appropriate training required for their job. Sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers are hired based on similar EH&S standards and are pre-qualified before beginning work. Macro ensures that everyone works together to support and provide on-the-job training for all workers in order to maintain a reliable and proficient workforce that you can trust.

In March 2013, Macro received 95% on their external ENFORM COR audit. Macro strongly believes their audit results are sustainable by:
- Promoting and instilling an interdependent safety culture within the workforce
- Ensuring all supervisors are adequately trained, educated and qualified for their positions
- Completing competency assessments on workers that are: operating powered mobile (PME) or ATV/ UTV equipment or are young or new to the workplace.
